Judithanne Astwood

Assistant Pro Judithanne Astwood career started in 1971 and just a few years later in 1980 was honoured to represent Bermuda in The World Amateur Championships. Turning Pro in 1992 she worked at Belmont Hotel Golf & Country Club where she gained LPGA Teaching and Club Pro status.

She has won Ocean View Club Championship, runner-up in Port Royal’s Club Championship in addition to numerous other Championships; Bermuda Amateur Match Play, Bermuda Stroke Play, Bermuda Four Ball plus Ladies Two Ball as well numerous tournaments overseas. Notably playing three times in the Azores Pro Am, not least once coming 10th against 30 male pro’s.

Judithanne, who has an enviable statistic to her name having had (to date) a hole in one - four times, credits her love of golf to her husband and the late Golf Pro Roger Outerbridge, who demonstrated that an understanding of the fundamentals, practise and patience are the key to success, something she happily endorses today.
